No, please hold on to your U Card and store it in a safe place where you will be able to find it. If you ever decide to come back to the University for any reason, you can still use the same U Card that you originally had and will still be subject to the replacement fee policy.
Departments may not retain U Cards as collateral for services or collect them upon an employee's exit.
